I didn’t actually have a great photo for this post, so I went back to this one from our DC trip. It was in the Botanic Gardens, where they had world monuments made of bamboo with model trains running throughout. Why the Eiffel Tower? Well, in true January, it’s resolution time, I’ve begun learning French. Always wanted to. Finally did it. I am on a resolution roll here! OK, a year late, but totally on a roll.
How are you doing on your resolutions so far?
Best,
Stephanie
What a great resolution to learn a language! My resolutions are going ok...all except for the "eat less sugar and other white foods." I knew that would be my toughest battle. ;o)
ReplyDeleteI loved this post. That garden looks like a very nice place to visit. You are braver than I am trying to learn a new language. I have always wished I could speak Spanish. At this stage of my life, I do good to speak anything.
ReplyDeleteI don't make any. Can't take the pressure! :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you Stephanie!!! I studied French in school and remember zippo!! haha.. except when I was in Paris.. and after a little bit of wine.. well maybe a lot..
ReplyDeleteLanguages were one of my favourite subjects at school. I wish I'd kept up with Italian lessons though.. I spent a few weeks in language school in Florence and 'meant to' keep it up back home.. maybe you will inspire me to get back into it..
Have a lovely weekend.. ciao xxx Julie
You are on a roll! I didn't make any actual resolutions. Just always tell myself to remember to stop and smell the roses. Though really, I always do stop if I see a flower anyway!
