… was to buy more flowers for the house. Maybe not every week, but definitely more often. These are just a simple bouquet from Costco, but it is in such happy colors. Another thing I bought at Costco was a down mattress pad. It is on sale for about $20, and it is like sleeping on little happy clouds of “aaaahhhh”. Pretty flowers and a good night’s rest sound like a recipe for a good day to me.
Best,
Stephanie
Ah...something else we have in common. I love having fresh flowers in our house and a couple times a month I'll pick up a group of flowers while I'm grocery shopping. I love the lift it gives our kitchen table!!!
ReplyDeleteYour down mattress pad sounds heavenly...
beautiful flowers. i rarely buy them for the house. i should because they are very uplifting. just got an email from deb. would be so fun to meet you both in april. my fingers are crossed.
ReplyDeleteWow that's cheap for a mattress pad! I love fresh flowers but hate spending the money on them unless it's a special occasion!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I buy them occasionally at the grocery store. It just cheers you up to see them. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteOh please Stephanie! Send them my way...lovely cheerful flowers and a good night sleep. Yes, please :)

I should add that to my list as well! Have a lovely sleep, I miss ours, it made me sneeze but it was wonderful sleeping in a big fluff! XO
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a perfect combination to me. If I thought it would work for me, I would buy everything new. I have a hard time turning my mind off a night.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...I have a Costco by me...sounds like a plan.
ReplyDeleteI love fresh flowers, hate paying for them in winter, but every so often is a treat.
ReplyDeleteI get mine at Sams Club. I know it is far for you. Costco and Sams are far, the joys of living out here! LOL
What a perfect post! Flowers always make you feel happy. It's a treat for the soul ~ like chocolate. You wouldn't want to eat it three times a day, but every once in a while ...ahhhhh!Love the pictures.

What a dreamy combination - no pun intended ;)
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite ways to treat myself is with tulips from Whole Foods. It is my little nod to self-care and they make me so happy. Only my best wishes for you in 2011, Stephanie!

flowers always keep up in good condition your moral..
ReplyDeletenew to your blog! love the image - if you have a hyvee near you they have fantastic flowers for $5.00 a bouquet - my husband and i share this same resolution!
ReplyDeleteI think that's a wonderful resolution! I find that they last longer than a week and sometimes I just take the dead ones out and make a smaller bouquet from what's left.
