sweets and treats …

Thank you to everyone for your sweet comments on the last post.  It was a perfect walk – gorgeous things to see everywhere.  I’ll be posting a few more photos from that trip, I’m sure.  But on to the treats.   Sweet chocolate decadence…

strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate … Yum!  

This cake takes a bit of time, but is easy to make.  For the frosting, just substitute dark chocolate for regular in a basic chocolate frosting recipe.   And then just bake your favorite version of the other flavors and layer them up.   I may try this one with pistachio instead of the strawberry too.  What flavors do you think would work?
