After nearly one year of wanting to make them, I finally tried my hand at making French style macaron. Not your grandma’s macaroons! Little light almond puffs of perfection – a crisp shell with soft moist insides … a raspberry and dark chocolate ganache filling … ahhhh …. mmmmm … oh la la!
Yes, they were as yummy as they look. They will definitely be on the dessert table for my next party or get together.
Bravo to making the these light delights! I love a good macaron and happen to stop by the tiniest french-owned coffee house in bustling midtown NYC to pick up a few of these beauties whenever I can.
ReplyDeletePistachio is my favorite!
I love pistachio too and will be trying them soon. They're so delicious. After that will be the caramel with sea salt, I think.
ReplyDeleteWhere in Manhattan do you buy them? I will be in the city soon, and always love to try new ones.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
