Some of them are still growing the wrong way, but the tomatoes are finally ready to eat. The kids have had a ball picking these little cherry tomatoes. They never have made it to the dinner table, but that’s OK. I’m all for a sweet little snack that’s good for you. (That green background is just the bushes behind the tomatoes – I liked the effect.) Sorry the posting has been scarce – with my sister here from out of town, we’ve been busy. Hope you all have a great week, and I’ll try to get back here soon!
Best,
Stephanie
Ahhh, beautiful real tomatoes! Great photo, Stephanie.
ReplyDeleteWe always planted cherry tomatoes for our kids from the time they were little. At least one of the girls has a cherry tomato plant every summer, to this day.
We also buy them in the store, year round. You are right...it is an excellent healthy snack.
I love cherry tomatoes :-) I have little yellow cherry toms growing and another red one getting bigger (I planted it late) and it has green toms on right now... hopefully soon they'll turn red.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday.
I would love to be there helping the little ones eat them. I love tomatoes any size.
ReplyDeleteOh, they look so good, I want to reach out and grab one.
ReplyDeleteThey look delish and they wouldn't make it to the dinner table for me either.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous image Stephanie. I love that. Those wouldn't last long around here either.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the yummy looking cherry tomatoes, Stephanie! xo
ReplyDeleteYour picture is wonderful. I love cherry tomatoes and also the little yellow pear tomatoes. There is something so special
ReplyDeleteabout summer bounty.
