There aren’t any great farmer’s markets near me. There is one that is just once a week, and I have to say, I don’t love it. It’s just okay. But there is a farm not too far away, and I have do say – I do love it.
The freshest produce – mostly all of it picked the same day – and the best prices. I picked up a kale for my neighbor that was less than $2 and could not fit in a shopping bag. Anyway, these treats for my tummy left me with some treats for the eyes. They don’t let you use a real camera in the barn where the produce is sold, so I had to make do with my phone.
Best,
Stephanie
Gorgeous photos! Fresh flowers and fresh foods always put me in a great mood.
ReplyDeleteYou even take great pictures from your iPhone! We have a farm nearby and we never seem to take advantage of it... you've inspired us!

The only farmers market around here is quite dirty and the produce is not good... I miss having them like they do in California
ReplyDeleteI loved these photos when I saw them on Instagram, and I really love them here in a larger format. Our local farmers markets aren't nearly as ample as yours - too hot this time of year for it!
ReplyDeleteThose carrots, scallions and kale look delectable! I've loved the local "farmstand" delivery service that I've used this summer. I had to smile when I saw one of the farms he reps at my local Whole Foods today. Reminded me to go straight to the source for my heirloom tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteAlways love your photos, Stephanie!

ReplyDeletewe have a little corn stand where they sell a few things around the corner from home, it's so nice to be able to buy a few fresh things! suz
ReplyDeleteThis is my fave time of the year to visit the farms here., so much to chose from, and I usually buy too much and then have to cook everything and give it away!
ReplyDeleteI am caught up, the rope pic is amazing!
Hope you had a good summer! It went too quickly for me!
Have you been to P Andrews lately?
