a few more from Rhode Island …

Are you sick of this trip yet?  I hope you’re hanging in there with me!  These are from a small town called Wickford.  It was voted one of the top ten Main Streets in the U.S., and was supposedly the basis of the town in the Witches of Eastwick.  This was the most charming little town you could imagine.  With homes dating to the 17 and 1800’s, water views from nearly everywhere, and cute little shops, we will definitely be going back.

At this little marina, there were fishermen bringing in the day’s catch.  I want to live here!

This house below is for sale.  Anyone want to go in with me?

These windows make my heart go pitter pat…

This little restaurant, Tavern on the Sea, is where we had lunch.

Isn’t this the cutest town?

Have a great weekend!

Best,

Stephanie

  2. Yes, I love checking out houses especially old ones. I used to have a friend that was a real estate agent and every now and then I would go with her when she was checking out houses for clients. Sadly she moved - that was fun! It does look like a charming town!

  3. my daughter went to college in Rhode Island and this was one of the little places we found wandering around.
It use to have a really great cheese and gourmet food place there that has closed. Not sure if the used book store is on the corner she has the cutest topiaries there and great little funky finds.
we haven't been back since she graduated. I loved some of the little side streets so quaint.
