Trap Door, by Sarah Graves. It is the tenth book in a series - the Home Repair is Homocide series - and I really have enjoyed them all. The series follows two friends and their families as they try to solve murders and mysteries in coastal Maine, and renovate a colonial home. I like reading mysteries, and especially series, where you get to know the characters over several books. I think you get more involved in the characters that way. And if I enjoy a series, I always look for the next one!
