Here she is, in all her glory. Yes, my tree is a she. Fruits, flowers and butterflies abound. Pears and pinecones throughout. Tiny little fruits. I hope you like it.
I made the flowers – there are about 20 on the tree, white and snowy ….
Two of my favorite ornaments – I got the moon and the star on a vacation years ago, and love them still.
Our angel watches over our tree every year. A gift from my dad our first married Christmas. (sorry dad, I am still glad I chose this one instead of the large light up star!) I love it when something I chose is something I would choose all over again, even years later …
A few little Christmas sweets …
The birds and the bees, and the butterflies and flowers …
Some red and gold and candy canes…
And there you have it. A Clark Christmas tree … I may post some more favorites, but right now, I am so happy my tree is up. I think I’ll go curl up in my favorite chair, in the sunniest spot in the house, with a good book. Then I can admire this old girl while we have her. Merry Christmas everyone. Hope the season brings you love, joy, peace and hope… xoxo, Stephanie
Your tree looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love that cake on a stand..do you remember where you got it..it would be cute on my kitchen tree!
I just tried to go to the store and got stuck on my street. Thank goodness the oil guy pushed me out.
It is really bad out here..the schools are still closed!
I hope we can get out by Christmas! LOL..I will be in by you!
Have a wonderful Christmas, Stephanie! Good health and happiness to you and your family in 2010!
Thank you for all your visits and kind comments..I appreciate it!!
I've had them all a while ... One stand was from a store in the city that went out of business a few years ago, the little french pastry ones were from AI Friedman art store a few years ago, and the red and white cake stands were from anthropologie about 5 years ago. The cupcake stand was from Runcible Spoon in Newport. I will keep my eyes open for you if I see any more.
