be kind to one another …

IMG_1384-copy_edited-1

I have to say, in the last two weeks or so, I’ve been reading quite a bit about people who leave negative comments on blogs, or disparage people whose focus is one particular aspect of their life.  It seems this is especially true when people focus on homemaking.  Here’s my take on it.  You don’t have to visit anyone’s blog, though courtesy does ask that you stop by and visit theirs if they have left a kind word on yours and you can do the same.   Sometimes, we all get a little busy, but we do our best.  But if you don’t like something, don’t bother leaving a negative comment.   Chances are you are far away from the “offending” blogger and don’t know them and so never need to go to that page again.  So don’t be rude.   It’s the old rule of Thumper – if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.  I have been fortunate that I have not had any negative comments.   But some really sweet people out in blogland have.  And that’s a shame.    So in blogs as in life, please, be kind to one another.
