You remember that story right? No more monkeys jumping on the bed? Well, this mama took her baby to the doctor. And he said she looks terrific! She definitely still has pain and residual stuff, including swelling of the knee, but he said he would think that the accident was weeks ago instead of one week. Hooray! In about 10 more days, she will be allowed to ride again too. Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. It really is appreciated.
Have a wonderful weekend my friends!
Best,
Stephanie
Stephanie...read all your posts and wow! While I am glad to hear she is on the road to recovery, what a time you have had. My heart goes out to you as I am sure you will hold that memory for some time to come. She sounds like a trooper and lucky for all a gifted rider.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you all.
Jeanne xoxo
I'm so happy to hear the good news! Your little monkey will be jumping on the bed again in no time. Have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteSomewhere along the way, I missed your daughter's accident, Stephanie. So sorry to hear about it and happy to hear she is on the mend.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
Kristen has asked if she can go horseriding!!! How weird is that after your blog post and my comment (and I never mentioned it)! I am going to look at some local stables/lessons and give them a call next week. You can go visit first then I could sign her up to have a trial lesson, see if she likes it. Glad your daughter is healing so well and so quickly :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful news. So many people have been holding good thoughts for her (and you) it had no choice but to be good news. I am sure you are feeling quite relieved. Have a great weekend and congratulations on the good news.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear your good news!
ReplyDeleteThat's great Stephanie! She's got youth on her side. It would take me years to heal from that.
ReplyDeleteGreat news. It's amazing how resilient kids are. I'm so glad to hear she's doing so well!!! xo
ReplyDeleteThanks Doc. Now youngster, please wear bubble wrap the next time you go jumpin with horses.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear a good report. Her being so young, she will heal much faster than we would. The bad part is not being able to do what she enjoys.
ReplyDeleteOh Stephanie, THANK GOD!!! I just read what happened, and this is so scary. I adore horses, but from a GREAT distance. I rode one twice in my life but never worked with them. Your daughter is fortunate to know what to do in such a circumstance and to have pulled through with such grace.
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming for a visit, and the name Geneviève is just glorious! THANK YOU, and get your rest, enjoy your sweet girl, and PRAISE GOD for HIS protection!
Have a splendid Sunday, Anita
