part three … breakfast at tiffany’s …

…and one of my favorite rooms so far.  Off of the kitchen was a little breakfast room.  They did the entire room in Tiffany blue.  You can’t really from the photos, but the walls were a perfect match to that iconic little blue box.    I apologize for the quality of some of the photos – they’re not the best, but I didn’t want to leave anything out, down to the velvet buttons on the silk curtains.  I won’t decorate my house before Thanksgiving, but I got a lot of ideas from this show house.   I think I would cheerfully open all those blue boxes at the Christmas table – wouldn’t you?

Best,

Stephanie

  1. Wow Stephanie...I just looked at your house tour. It looks like it was wonderful. I miss a really festive house tour. It gets your right into the mood. When we lived in Connecticut it was one of my favourite things to do. So much so that I have box after box after box of Christmas decorations which I drag from country to country to country. I find it so hard to part with Christmas decorations. The kids come to love it and want to see it all up. I am trying really hard to hold back this year but there are so many beautiful things in the shop around London :)

    Happy decorating!

Tiffany blue is an all time favorite color.
The sparkly wreath on the door at the end of your post reminds me of a Z gallerie find I embellished with silver seashell charms and more.
