Hello, everyone. It’s hard for me to believe that this is my first post in April. And it’s already the 10th! Yikes! It’s been the usual madness here – work, committees, spring sports, birthdays, holidays, and unfortunately, two funerals for neighbors. All of which is why I haven’t done the rainbow frosting tutorial, but it’s coming.
In the middle of the usual crazy running around, the kiddos are also home from school. Which you would think would free up some time, but somehow doesn’t. It doesn’t help that once you get to JV sports, the kids do not get any time off from practice or games. As a matter of fact, I’ll be at a lacrosse game tomorrow.
Also, my Blackberry died. Again. So after the third one bit the bullet before my contract was up, I gave up and joined the iPhone nation. There are definitely things I miss about my old phone, but dang this one is fun!
Here are a couple of photos I took with my phone. The camera is better than any I’ve ever had on a phone.
Add in instagram, and it’s pretty fun. If you want to follow me there, I’m clickinmom42. I’d be glad to follow you back.
I finally made it to Laduree yesterday, and I’ll have some photos from there in a couple of days.
Hope all’s well in your end of the world!
Best,
Stephanie
Yay! Welcome to the iPhone club. I just started following you on Instagram. :) Looking forward to seeing your frosting tutorial!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by the Back Porch, Stephanie. It is good to see your post. I love the photos. I've seen the instagrams and wondered how they worked.
ReplyDeletewelcome back. i totally understand needing a break. the iPhone is fun. i don't use instagram as much as i should. it's so fun i just don't always think to grab my phone.
ReplyDeleteI have the ipad, but it has a lot of things I don't like! The worst is the glare. Even if I am by the window in the den i can't see the screen! And the constant updating is annoying too!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back! I was at Peter Andrews last week! Thought of you!
I have so much fun with my iphone. It takes the place of my dslr lots of times. Glad you are enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteits about time you jumped on the iPhone wagon!!!
ReplyDeletehope you love it!
Please tell me how the macarons are -
and what are they? i see them all over pinterest and haven't figured out the flavor or what it is yet
I can't believe the queen of cupcakes went to Laduree! Tried my hand at red velvet cupcakes this weekend and they weren't nearly as pretty as yours (but they were pretty tasty according to the menfolk!)
