morning glories …

I’m on a bit of an Emerson kick here.   But go ahead.  Try something different.  Surprise yourself.  Rise up when you fail.   There is glory in just trying.  Accomplish something wonderful when you succeed.

    I certainly appreciate your words. I have met a challenge and risen above it, this week, and succeeded. It wasn't the biggest challenge I've ever faced. In fact in the grand scheme of things, it's pretty mediocre. But I met it head on. I am pretty tenacious.

    If you haven't found your way to the new and I hope improved Back Porch, I hope to see you there soon.

    Stephanie, you don't know how much I needed to hear this quote. I have been feeling like a failure since this new school year started. HIGH EXPECTATIONS, less teachers, more kids for me and a new curriculum have been overwhelming. BUT, Emerson has a point here and only the brave would dare to walk on in peace to keep on trying.
