more Christmas in NYC

Ready for more Christmas photos?  These are the last ones – promise!   First up, is the ice skating in Bryant Park that I mentioned, but forgot to post.

Next up is St. Patrick’s Cathedral as the sun set.  Pretty, isn’t it?

These light up snowflakes are so pretty at night, but we’d left the area before dark.

Last up is a display of animated bears we saw on 53rd Street on our way out of the city.   These were adorable!

When I saw that last one, I thought of my friend Deb at Paper Turtle.   I figured once she saw these, she’d be making cut out trees and reindeer for next year!  Gotta love that crafty girl!

Hope you enjoyed the NYC trip with me.  I am thinking this is the last post I will get in for 2011.   I hope to see you all back here in 2012.   Wishing each of you a very Happy and Healthy New Year and all the best for 2012!

Best, always,
Stephanie

  2. :o) Awesome pictures, Steph. Funny - I was enjoying the photos and when I saw the bears with the cut-outs I thought, "Hey! I need to get that scroll saw back from my BIL next year..." By then my shoulder will be good as new and I could make it happen. Thanks for thinking of me, dear friend. A very happy new year to you and yours! xo

  6. New York is the most spectacular city at Christmas! I have loved looking at all your photos and your home decorations. I was away this Christmas so I didn't decorate...that was very frustrating!
Stephanie, I wish you a wonderful New Year filled with many blessings. I look forward to your wonderful posts in 2012.
    Happy New Year!

  7. Enjoyed these posts so much Stephanie.

I am trying to get back into blogging groove. Changed the template and will decide if I want to keep it after living with it awhile.

Wishing you all the best in 2012!

  10. Hi first time here, (I think) nice to "meet you" ...what a wonderful recap of the big apple...you caught all magic and excitement that is this great city. Being there during Christmas is when it shines literally and figuratively like no other time!
